Who is the Churchill Community Coalition?

Churchill Community Coalition is a non-profit organization that has been actively engaged in the prevention of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use for over 20 years and continues to be an organization dedicated to providing the community with prevention and wellness programs through community action and community partner support. Our main focus is substance misuse and substance use disorder prevention and health and wellness. The Coalition continues to be a force that advocates, promotes and pursues opportunities to improve the health and well-being of youth, families and others.

Churchill Community Coalition is one of 11 prevention coalitions serving the State of Nevada. It was formed as a venue for individuals and agencies from different community sectors to join forces to address negative behavior (e.g., substance abuse, teen pregnancy, academic failure, etc.).

Building community bridges to promote positive behavior

To create an environment where every person is supported by family, peers, and the community and where every individual has the resources available that he or she needs to become safe, healthy, substance-free, educated, and a contributing member of the community.
